Classified Vacancies
The Upland Unified School District employs personnel in a large variety of areas, both full-time and part-time. Certificated Vacancies
We make every effort to hire fully credentialed personnel. Teacher credentialing information is available at the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website. Certificated positions include administrators, adult education teachers, counselors, nurses, psychologists, classroom teachers, special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and substitute teachers.
Substitute Assignments
The FRONTLINE System is available to you 24 hours a day. You can have access to the system by entering your PIN (the last six digits of your social security number).

Morning call out: 5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (same day assignments)
Evening call out: 4:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (future assignments)
Absence cancellation deadline for substitutes is no later than 12 hours prior to the scheduled start of the job.

Classified Employee Grant (CEG)
The Classified Employees Grant program offers up to $4,320 per fiscal year to cover the cost of tuition, books, testing, and a living stipend for each participant. All classified employees, student workers, interns, and classified substitute/short-term who have completed at least 60 college units or higher and would like to pursue a career as a teacher are encouraged to apply.
