About Wes Fifield

Wes Fifield has served on the UUSD Board of Education since 2005 – almost two decades that have seen the District experience significant growth in academic achievement, earn state and national acclaim for its commitment to student health and well-being, introduce and expand STEM learning and AVID instruction, and build some of California’s most successful athletic and extracurricular programs.

The desire to see all students are given opportunities in life through education is the core reason why Mr. Fifield ran for the Upland Unified School Board. Providing pathways for students to be college ready, career technical training, STEM classes, along with the arts, athletics, and social/emotional support are the pillars of UUSD. Education is the most reliable way for anyone to improve their life and stays with you your entire life. Upland should be the place where this all happens. Mr. Fifield also provides oversight for the UUSD with his background in accounting, construction, real estate, and in the business community.

Mr. Fifield and his wife, Stacey, have lived in Upland since 1996, and have raised two children here – both of whom graduated from Upland High School. His commitment to community is evident in his many volunteer and philanthropic endeavors, including serving on the boards of San Antonio Regional Hospital, the Highlander Educational Foundation and the Scheu Family YMCA.

Mr. Fifield is owner of Panorama Development, a shopping center development company in the Inland Empire. He has a degree in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego, with minors in managerial accounting and psychology.
