Sports Medicine

Sports Medicine is designed for students who are interested in the practical and theoretical aspects of sports injury prevention, recognition, and treatment and care of sports related injuries. Students will learn basic anatomy and physiology of the human body, mechanisms of sport injury/illness, basic injury evaluation, sports therapy modalities including taping, wrapping, and sports-related emergency care.

Sports Medicine I & II are great classes to learn more about the different careers in the sports medicine field.  In addition to the skills we learn, we do career exploration to help you decide which sports medicine career path may be the best fit for you!
